Free plan allows only one notion.site subdomain for published pages; additional domains require a paid plan.
- 5 MB file upload limit
Each file or image attachment is capped at 5 MB; paid plans allow up to ~5 GB per file.
- 7-day page history
Version history only goes back 7 days on the free plan; paid plans extend this to 30–90 days or unlimited.
- 10 external guests
A free workspace can invite at most 10 guests from outside the organization; paid plans have unlimited guests.
- AI is trial-only
Notion AI (chat, generate, autofill, agent, meeting notes) is a limited trial on the free tier and requires a paid add-on for ongoing use.
