Gotchas

• 1,000 records per base

  Each base is capped at 1,000 total records across all tables; exceeding the cap blocks new record creation until upgraded.

• 1 GB attachment storage per base

  Each base is limited to 1 GB of file attachment storage; adding further attachments is blocked once the cap is hit.

• 1,000 API calls per workspace per month

  The entire workspace shares 1,000 API calls per month; resets monthly but is very low for any automation-heavy workflow.

• 100 automation runs/month

  The Free plan includes 100 automation runs per month, resetting monthly; the Team plan raises this to 25,000 runs per month.

• No extensions

  Extensions (previously called apps/blocks) are unsupported on the Free plan, blocking chart widgets, page designers, and third-party integrations.

• No record coloring

  Record coloring rules are unavailable on the Free plan, limiting visual differentiation of rows.

• Airtable branding on forms

  Free plan forms display Airtable branding and do not allow header image customization or branding removal.

• Calendar view limitations

  Creating date ranges and plotting multiple date fields in the calendar view is unsupported on the Free plan.

• 2-week revision history only

  Revision and snapshot history is limited to 2 weeks on the Free plan; Team plan provides 1 year.

• 500 AI credits per editor per month

  Each editor or above receives 500 AI (Omni) credits per month; resets monthly but is a very small allocation.

• 5 editors/creators per workspace

  The Free plan workspace is limited to 5 collaborators with Editor or Creator permissions; unlimited read-only collaborators are allowed.

• 14-day Team trial on first workspace

  New accounts automatically receive a 14-day complimentary Team plan trial on their first workspace before reverting to Free plan limits.

• Cannot transfer workspace ownership

  On the Free plan, changing the workspace owner is not supported; a paid plan upgrade is required.
