No

Tencent EdgeOne Pages scores 6.1/10 for free value in Apps. The main constraint: Permanently free plan (no credit card): zero-cost deploys with website acceleration traffic and request quotas, edge + cloud serverless functions, and 1 GB KV storage across up to 10 namespaces.

Category Apps Kind Edge web/app hosting Caveats Free tier is the only tier today; higher-quota paid plans are "coming soon" (the broader EdgeOne CDN/security product already meters traffic around 500 GB/mo on its Basic tier). KV storage is capped at 1 GB and usable only inside Edge Functions. Exact free numeric quotas for traffic and function invocations are not published as fixed numbers and are subject to abuse/anomaly monitoring; overages currently are not cut off only because the paid version has not launched yet. Gotchas

  • Acceleration traffic quota

Free plan includes website security acceleration traffic and request quotas; the broader EdgeOne plan structure meters traffic at ~500 GB/mo before paid tiers. Press release describes free CDN traffic as 'unmetered', so the practical cap is enforced via abuse/anomaly monitoring rather than a published hard number.

  • KV storage 1 GB

KV storage is capped at 1 GB per account, across a maximum of 10 namespaces, and is only usable from within Edge Functions.

  • Function invocation quota

Edge and cloud function invocations are included but quota-limited; exact free invocation/min limits are not published and excessive usage is subject to throttling once paid tiers launch.

  • Free tier feature limits

Free tier provides basic/default DDoS and WAF protection and basic log viewing; advanced security (OWASP WAF, enhanced bot management) and higher quotas are reserved for future paid plans.

  • Higher quotas not yet available

Free is currently the only plan; higher-quota individual/enterprise tiers are announced as 'coming soon', and overages are tolerated only until the paid version launches.

  • Anomaly/abuse monitoring

Abnormal traffic and abusive behavior are monitored and may be restricted even though normal business usage is not interrupted before the paid version launches.
